AMA camera and microphone setup
Get your camera and microphone ready, then wait for the producer to speak with you.
Before you join
- Plug in your headphones.Keep the conversation clear and prevent speaker echo.
- Choose your camera and mic.Allow browser access when asked, then select the devices you want to use.
- Wait for your producer.Joining a screening room does not put you on air. The producer will let you know when it’s your turn.
You are joining a screening room. The producer will approve and transfer you before adding you to the show.
Camera and microphone help
No picture or sound?Check camera and microphone permissions using your browser’s site controls. Confirm the correct devices are selected and that your microphone is unmuted.
Setup will not load?Use “Open setup in a new tab” above to open the same VDO.Ninja room directly. If your browser blocks embedded device access, this can help.
Hearing an echo?Use headphones and close duplicate call tabs. Keep only one microphone connection active.
Reconnecting?Refreshing after the producer transfers you returns you to screening. Wait to be admitted again.
